Notably, While the full Numident database contains all the information SSA receives on applications for SSNs, the designation to the Do Not Pay Working System will be limited in scope, allowing Do Not Pay users to verify only three data elements associated with a payment or award recipient under a health or income maintenance program—name, SSN, and DOB. 2026-02-26 State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System (SUDORS) HHS/CDC SUDORS is designed to detect new trends in fatal unintentional drug overdoses, support targeting drug overdose prevention efforts, and assess the progress of the HHS initiative to reduce opioid misuse and overdoses. Through this listing, CDC is proposing a number of changes to the collection, including collecting additional information about place of death, mental health, and substance use. 2026-02-27 Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: ASTP/ONC Deregulatory Actions To Unleash Prosperity HHS This proposed rule aims to "remove duplicative and unnecessary requirements of the ONC Health IT Certification Program." To achieve this goal, HHS is removing more than half of its health IT certification criteria, changing a half dozen of the remaining criteria, and maintaining the remaining 19 criteria as is. The patient demographics criteria are being revised to remove requirements to collect sexual orientation, gender identity, name to use, and pronouns. 2026-03-02 Restoring Integrity to the Issuance of Non-Domiciled Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDL) DOT This form collects State-level information regarding CLPs and CDLs that were issued to people who do not live in the US and the documentation that was provided during the application process for those non-domiciled CLPs and CLDs. The requirements for this collection were included in an Interim Final Rule that has been stayed by the DC Court of Appeals. DOT is moving the information collection through the process "in order to ensure that the collection will be able to be enforced as soon as the stay is lifted." Immigration
2026-03-02 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey—Household Component HHS MEPS collects data on the specific health services that Americans use, how frequently they use them, the cost of these services, and how they are paid for, as well as data on the cost, scope, and breadth of health insurance held by and available to U.S. workers. HHS is making a number of changes to the MEPS, including removing questions on birth control, gender, aspirin use, and counseling; adding questions about use of sleep medication, trouble getting to sleep, screen time, use of wearable devices, self-assessed diet quality, fruit and vegetable consumption, meals eaten away from home, former smoking, and weight loss attempts; and making changes to a number of other questions. 2026-03-02 Civil Rights and Conscience Complaint and Health Information Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Complaint HHS These forms collect the minimum information needed from individuals filing complaints with the Office of Civil Rights to form the basis for the initial processing of those complaints. While the changes being made to the forms are somewhat unclear, according to the listing, the forms are being revised to reduce burden and to conform with a court case which put on hold the HHS Section 1557 rule, which defined sex discrimination as including “sex characteristics, including intersex traits”; “pregnancy or related conditions”; “sexual orientation”; “gender identity”; and “sex stereotypes.” Non-Discrimination
2026-03-04 Ticket to Work Program Evaluation SSA SSA is conducting a new evaluation of the Ticket to Work Program, which is designed to increase the availability of and access to employment services for adults with disabilities receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). SSA is contracting with Mathematica to conduct this evaluation, which they hope will provide the evidence base necessary to determine the need for potential programmatic changes or other proposals to maximize program effectiveness. 2026-03-05 2026 Operational Test in Support of the 2030 Census Census This Test will test the viability of new and revamped systems and methods researched and developed for the census; to identify, document, and address potential challenges. Of note, Census will conduct the test in only two of its six proposed sites, will test using postal workers as enumerators, and will use the American Community Survey - rather than the decennial Census - to test self-response and will use a modified version of the ACS to test in-field enumeration. 2026-03-09 SNAP Review of Major Changes in Program Design and Management Evaluation Systems USDA When state agencies make a major change to the operations of their SNAP programs, including integrating automation tools (including AI and bots) or increasing the use of non-merit staff (such as contractors or temporary employees), they use this form to notify FNS and to provide FNS with the information they need to identify and correct any adverse effects on program integrity or access. If FNS determines that a change meets the "major change" threshold, states are required to collect and report monthly State-level data on application processing metrics - although the notice specifies that sub-state level data may be collected in some instances. HRSA is making significant changes to this suite of forms, including removing four forms and 50 questions that are "no longer needed," and revising race and ethnicity questions to comply with OMB's revisions to SPD15.
